Drawsigner
Geared for both students and veterans alike, this talk walks the viewer through a systematic creative process that any designer can adapt into their own work flow and begin to utilize immediately in order to produce better work on a consistent basis.
Drawing Conclusions
This talk demonstrates why designers should make drawing a regular part of their daily routine. How the power of visual images can be leveraged through drawing and improve the quality of a designers work both aesthetically and effectually. Our industry may be digitally driven, but ideas are still best developed in analog form.
I Think Therefore I Draw
Drawing is a designers best creative friend. This workshop uses group drawing exercises combined with concept thinking in order to leverage visual solutions. Attenders will be encouraged to make drawing a regular part of their daily creative routine. Because, even though we all work digitally, our ideas are still best developed in analog form.
Anatomy of a Logo
This three hour workshop is co-hosted by Von Glitschka and Stefan Mumaw and distills the creative process of developing a brand identity from initial client contact, research, concept development, presentation, revisions, brand management and everything else in between. Attenders are asked to complete six different creative exercises based on key points through out the presentation. It’s a fun, informative and interactive event.
Living a Creatively Curious Life
What keeps a designer relevant, unique, and inspired? This talk showcases how living a creatively curious life will enable a designer to leverage moments of inspiration, and move forward on random creativity outside the realm of day to day work in order to fuel their own passion for the work they create.
Creating 5ive-Alarm Concepts
Our work demands us to produce original ideas on a daily basis. This talk demonstrates the importance of designers being great thinkers, by expanding their knowledge base from outside our industry in order to facilitate unique concepts within our own work.
