The internet is replete with numerous brands competing for your attention. Within this online culture exists a newer breed of branding that derives it’s equity not on traditional products or services offered by a multi-national corporation but rather an individual personality.

A few of the most popular personal brands that can be found on the internet today are Guy Kawasaki, Robert Scoble, Leo Laporte, and John Saddington.

OK, so John isn’t quite at their level just yet, but he’s working on it. And with the help of Glitschka Studios he now has a fun brand character of himself he can use to build his equity with moving forward.

AARP called on Glitschka Studios to create a winter themed illustration to go with their December issue crossword puzzle. Since most publications are usually designed months in advance of their newsstand appearance, we had to get into a frozen state of mind since the local temperature was approaching 100 degrees.
The final art is festive and infused with a nice organic texture.
We created a set of linear line illustrations to reinforce the concept of “Freedom of Speech” a new campaign Ogilvy developed for Australia’s largest telecommunications company Telstra.
The illustrations were used in print collateral and animated for TV spots. When you need to draw conclusion on your next project you know who to call.

For the chapter “The History of Bezier Curves” we illustrated Pierre Bezier. (AKA: The French Curve) We think this might be the first vector (bezier curve) illustration of the man responsible for taking the mathematical equation of bezier curves and implementing them within the realm of computer graphics?

In order to reinforce the whole bezier curve theme, we utilized a few of our newly created ornaments since they heavily depend on the use of bezier curves to design them.
Author Mordy Golding asked Glitschka Studios to illustrate the cover for his latest “Real World Illustrator” book.

It’s always a challenge to create a cover that demonstrates and showcases new features in a software application, but do it in a fun and memorable way. For this design I focused on the fact that the new release was “CS5.” So I played off the number “5″ by featured the top “5″ new features, and kept the central focus the user.

As a creative hired gun, Glitschka Studios does a lot of collaborative exploratory work for other agencies and design firms. Denver based Barnhart called on us to create a new brand character for a pitch they were developing for their client Tommy Knocker Brewery.

A character development like this represents an entire company and a product line, so the process can become long and drawn out. Often the focus moves off the bigger brand picture and gets bogged down in the minutia.

When a project languishes like this, the design may never be used and is almost always shelved.

Regardless of that reality, we’re happy with the work we provided in this creative partnership and think Barnhart did a great job implementing the character into the overall brand development.

Glitschka Studios enjoys getting to know our clients. We take into consideration what type of personality and culture their business operates under, who their core audience is, and what message would best communicate with that audience. Our immersive approach towards understanding our clients industry allows us to then dream appropriately on their behalf so we can define a strategic solution that’ll make their business more successful.

Formerly known as “Australia Trampolines” our client was expanding their distribution and moving into the American market place and needed a new identity that would brand them globally. The inspiration for our brand mark design was derived from the circular shape of a trampoline, and the Vulcan god of smithery, and thus the new brand name “Vuly” was forged.

We strive to create long lasting, rewarding, and effectual relationships with our clients. If you have a project you’d like to bounce off us, we’d love the opportunity to jump on it.

Glitschka Studios enjoys it’s roll as a strategic design partner for other agencies when it comes to branding. Hillebrand Cory needed some fun linear illustrations to facilitate their print collateral concept for the National Restaurant Association, so we developed the visual recipe needed.

To help them achieve the look they were after we also designed a custom repeat pattern they could use as a background element on the cover.

What ever your creative appetite, we enjoy cooking up tasty solutions.
